I had a lot of fun writing Dark Winter (and The Silver Lance) and I’m happy others have read and enjoyed it as well. Yet the very reason you got Dark Winter was because of an RPG festival hosted by T.W. Wombat over at Wombat’s Gaming Den of Iniquity, a fact I forgot to mention beforehand! The site is playing host to a variety of winter-themed articles and article links that could use your patronage and feedback. You can check out the main Winter Is Coming page here, and give feedback to T.W. Wombat as well as the individual authors of articles you liked right here. Hopefully in the future we’ll see more themed blog festivals from T.W. Wombat, which may give me more opportunities to write new adventure stuff and other things for World of Adel in various flavors.
When I heard about it I thought it was a wonderful idea. There are a few other themed RPG “festivals” around as well, like the RPG Blog Carnival, the current incarnation of which is about Assassins, though that’s about to end now I think, and I wouldn’t really know what to say about that currently. I might participate in the next one depending on the theme. After participating in Winter Is Coming I’d like to be more on the ball about writing for these themed blog events because it helps me think about areas of the setting I haven’t touched before.
