You could win a glorious $10 in RPGNow/DrivethruRPG credit, and buy whatever product you want with that sweet sweet digital lucre, just by reading this blog and commenting.
To enter, simply post a comment to this post with your name and a valid email address that you actually check, and can check within the period this contest will be open for – this is important because otherwise I can’t send you the link.
In the body of the comment you will write below, write me a little helpful bit about an article you read on this blog within the past two or three months (since July) and what you thought about it. The only stipulation is that you not comment on a meta-article, where I talk about the blog’s schedule changes or something. It has to be actual content – in all likelihood it will be tagged “Spirits of Eden” or “Expedition” and you will know it’s actual content.
The contest will be open until next Friday, October 7. I will randomly select one eligible commenter. I won’t actually look at your names when I do – I’ll probably pull them out of a hat without looking. The “eligible” thing is just if you posted a comment with a valid email address and an actual comment in the body.
In addition, anyone can enter the code “DiceInTheFall” to get 20% off the following products:
Savage Worlds Fantasy Companion [Pinnacle Entertainment]
So you can make those 10bux go just a little bit further.

I am not above being bribed to read this blog.
That’s the spirit! And in turn now I know your blog!
We’re all so good at this web thing!
Ah—I stupidly did not copy-and-paste correctly in my first response.
So:
I am not above being bribed to read this blog.
My favorite bit so far was waaaay back in July, your “Homebrew Diary” post. I like seeing how people think through the design process, as creative work is messy work, and I like to see people admit this and deal with it.
Heres the post I chose: Nomenclature and Languages In Adel. I chose it because you did a really good job with it and I’m kind of a nerd for language stuff like that.
POAST
Just so you know, posts without an actual comment in the body as per the instructions will not be considered for the contest.
Perhaps I should rewrite the instructions to be a bit clearer.
Sorry. I was actually trying to see if my new wordpress account would actually post to here. It didn’t post the first or second attempts, due to an error on my part (hitting the backspace button at the wrong time). I figured I’d just put down a word and hit ‘Post Comment’ already.
Oh it’s fine, you don’t have to apologize. I just wanted to let everyone know just in case it wasn’t clear. Cool to see you on wordpress, I like it a lot.
I’m new to your blog so I haven’t had a chance to read much. However, I did just read “An Audit Of Lord Zafar’s Eccentric Collection” and it was quite entertaining. Any comments I might have can only fall into the realm of personal taste and, as I am not a literary critic, should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism.
But as you have asked for my comments I have but one – the introduction part of the story could be a little shorter. I found myself eager to get to the “audit”. However, this is merely nit-picking. I did like the little “in jokes” scattered throughout the items and I thought the story was interesting and engaging!
Hell even for literary criticism a lot of it is taste and subjectivity. That’s why we’re arguing all the time and why we need a council of 20 old guys looking over every scholarly essay!
Thank you for your comment and I hope the blog continues to please.
Apologies for the delay! I found myself in a bit of a situation yesterday!
The winner of the contest is Dwashba! I’ll be getting your prize sent to you soon.
Thanks everybody for participating.
Do you want me to contact you?
No actually, I told the onebookshelf guy to send the prize. Have you not received it yet? I’ll sling him another email.
Just got it. Thanks a bunch. Good luck in all your game designing endeavors
